I started this blog a few years ago when I became interested in web design and web development.

I discovered Google Reader (aggregator) and started following a number of web design / development blogs for a few months, linking to articles and adding my own commentary.

When Google shut down Reader, I struggled to keep up with the blogs, but staff cuts at work cut into my free time, and my posting output fell way off.

A couple of days ago, I decided to relinquish the evolvingcodemonkey.com domain name. I backed up the site to WordPress backup files, then created a new subdomain on my personal domain (spurlock.cc) and restored the site here.
